Monasterboice – Round Tower & High Crosses
Monasterboice GARMIN, GPS & SatNav Co-ordinates: 53° 46' 38.65" N, 6° 25' 0.5" W.
On this tour we meet you at the site entrance and walk together amongst the crosses and ancient churches. At the round tower we share the different theories and suggestions of how and why these Irish round towers were constructed.
This is an active graveyard and we will pay due respect to those buried here in ancient times and more recently.
