Option 1: The Hill of Tara tour
Today The Hill of Tara appears as little more than vague lumps and bumps but let us take you on a tour exploring the fabric of this place, the archaeology, myth and legend and see how they weave together to relay the story of Tara. Learn about: Secret sacred wells, liminal spaces, mysterious earth works, earth energies, sacred taboos, the golden section of phi, the gods and the goddess, and decide for yourself why Tara became the most powerful spot in Ireland for over two thousand years The Hill of Tara tour starts from the main gate ~1 - 1/2 - 2 hours, €10 per person, 10% discount with groups of 10 or over Each tour is unique, adapted and personalised to the interests of the group or individual client Preview Hill of Tara tour >>> |
Option 2: The Fourknocks tour
The Fourknocks is one of the most sublime places on this planet. An enigmatic neolithic chamber that is linked to Newgrange through the Winter Solstice alignment. The Rock carvings, dating back over 5000 years, are as fresh and as stunning as the day they were first carved. This, together with a strong sense of ancestral spirits, makes Fourknocks one of Ireland's best kept secrets.
